Lanzhou, on the Yellow River

Alfred de Montesquiou visits a national park, a legionary monument, a Western-style temple and meets local “blond” people in Liqian, visits a Taoist temple, a local noodle restaurant and local musician in Lanzhou, and eventually finds himself at a Confucian Temple and an opera in Qingcheng.
