SSL encryption
This website uses an SSL encryption for security reasons. No data transferred to us can be read by any third-party.
Cookies
This website uses cookies. A cookie “is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user’s computer by the user’s web browser while the user is browsing.” (Wikipedia) You can disable cookies in your browser settings if you wish to do so.
What information do we collect?
When you visit our site we will automatically collect information including:
IP address, browser type and version, time zone setting, operating system, platform, information about your visit, including the full URL, page response times and errors encountered.
No sensitive or personally identifiable data is collected during this process.
Account registration
If you register an account, you provide us with additional data, which includes your e-mail address, last time online, and what content you authored/edited.
An account can be deleted at any time, but the content you authored will remain in the database.
Matomo Analytics
We are using Matomo Analytics to generate our visitor statistics. Matomo uses cookies to generate the statistics. Your IP address will be shortened and is anonymous by doing so. The collected data will be transferred to our servers and saved. If you don’t want us to gather your information, you can opt-out here:
How do we use or share your data?
To respond to legal requests and prevent harm.
If we receive a subpoena or other legal request, we may need to inspect the data we hold to determine how to respond.
For compliance with laws
We may disclose your information if we are legally required to do so in order to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).
What are your privacy rights?
You have the right to object to us handling your personal information in the ways described in "How do we use or share your data?". If you ask us to stop handling your personal information in a certain way we will stop unless we can show you that we have compelling reason to continue using your personal information in that way.
Right of access
You are entitled to receive confirmation as to whether your personal information is being processed by us as well as various other information related to our use of your personal information.
You also have the right to access your personal information that we are handling.
Right to rectification
You have the right to require us to correct any inaccurate personal information we hold about you. You also have the right to have incomplete personal information we hold about you completed by providing missing information to us.
Right to restriction
You can restrict our handling of your personal information. When you make use of your right to restrict our handling of your personal information we will then only process your personal information when you agree, except for storage purposes and to handle legal claims and governmental requirements.
Right to data portability
You have the right to obtain the personal information we hold about you in a structured machine-readable format and to send this to another organization controlling your personal information.
Right to erasure
You have the right to require us to delete your personal information which we are handling in the following circumstances:
- If we no longer need to use your personal information for the reasons we were originally handling it for
- If we needed your consent to use your personal information and you have withdrawn your consent
- If you object to our use of your personal information and we have no compelling reason to carry on handling your personal information
- If our handling of your personal information has broken the law
- If we must erase your personal information to comply with a law we are subject to
