An API is already set up and configured, using Drupal’s JSON:API module. Since the OFDb is still a small project with humble resources, the API isn’t documented yet (even though fully working). If you’d like to make use of it, drop us a line at api@ofdb.cc and we happily provide you more detail on how to access our data through the API.
