Franz Jägerstätter is an Austrian farmer. He opposes Nazi Germany which brings him the rejection of his village. When he’s drafted into the army, he refuses to swear the oath on Adolf Hitler. He’s immediately thrown into prison, while his wife and her sister continue to work on the farm.
