The Name of the Rose

Mysterious deaths occur in an abbey in Northern Italy. Some monks are convinced that they are the devils work. When the Franciscan monks William von Baskerville and Adso von Melk arrive at the abbey on an unrelated matter, they start investigating the occurings.
